They were pacing themselves.. ...In the words of Michael Keaton (Gungho) "the game is not one until the 4th quarter."

I agree with Empire 100%. You can't count on 4th quarter comebacks.

Re: Eli Manning shines in Over-time

How many times can a fourth quarter comeback overcome a dozen holding/false start penalties?

Re: Eli Manning shines in Over-time

as long as they win more then they lose, they can make as many penalties as they want. Sooner or later it will haunt them. Till then i wont complain

Re: Eli Manning shines in Over-time

Oh its gonna haunt them alright. With that schedule? Luke Pettigout better learn to stay in his 3 point stance or youre looking at a 7-9 season at best. Trent Cole is not gonna be there for personal fouls every week gentlemen.

In defense of Pettigout, I don't think he's been the culprit with all the false starts this year. In the past, no doubt. But I believe it's been more on the receivers and McKenzie, Snee and O'Hara.

Re: Eli Manning shines in Over-time

Well im talking about the boneheaded penalties in general. I mean if they dont stop then their season is over. The Eagle win was huge but they could have/should have beat the Colts as well but frankly they look like a mess fundamentally speaking.
