The official Giants site highlights a quote made by head coach Tom Coughlin, trying to get fans who will be at Giants Stadium for home games to get loud.
Giants season ticket holders are known for being rather old because they're passed down from generation to generation. This has caused home games to lack a real home field advantage in recent years as the stadium is pretty quiet for the most part.
"Coach Tom Coughlin took time to salute the Giants fans, who he called “the 12th man," and called upon them to raise the volume when opposing offenses have the ball. “What I would like,” Coughlin said, "is that our stadium become the most difficult place in the world to play the New York Giants. Our goal as always is to make all New Yorkers proud to be New York Giants.” Coughlin's counting on those fans to give Big Blue a real home-field advantage"
For the Giants sake, let's hope that starts Sunday night.
