I went to the Giants game on Saturday which was pre-season against the Jets. I came into that stadium looking for mainly 3 things-

1. How Eli would do.
2. How the receivers would do.
3. How Mark Sanchez looked.

As for 1, I thought it was about that the same as last year. The offensive line gives him plenty of time, and he usually makes good decisions. Unfortunately, some receivers missed balls they should have had.

As for the receivers, I saw Steve Smith drop a huge pass, about 50 yards, wide open. Would have been a touchdown. That got me nervous. I also saw Hakeem Nicks make a great catch for a touchdown, the pass was thrown by David Carr though, who by the way looked pretty good.

Mark Sanchez looked decent, I thought most of his success was do to some bad plays by the defense. Including one pathetic play where a receiver danced around the end zone breaking like 4 tackles in a distance of about 8 yards, and then scoring.

The Giants lost 25-27. However I don't really care too much about pre-season scores.

Nah, preseason scores mean nothing. How the starters play could. How did they play in their other games, the same or was this just a one time thing. I saw Oyenimmmmmmmwhatever is back to practice. That will make a big diff on the D
