At a time when Ed Roski’s group is drawing closer to making a pitch to lure one or two NFL teams to Los Angeles, the Saints reportedly are closing in on an agreement to stay put in New Orleans.
Per WWL-TV, the Saints and Louisiana officials are close to a deal that will keep the team in New Orleans well beyond the upcoming expiration of their Superdome lease.
The Saints are one of eight teams previously identified as potentially heading to Los Angeles. The others are the Bills, the Jaguars, the Chargers, the Raiders, the Vikings, the Rams, and the 49ers.

I didnt think the Saints were going anywhere. Louisiana wants them to stay where they are.

You La blew there chance a long time ago, if you had two teams at the same time and blew both of them near the same time, you don't deserve another one. LA doesnt even like football, they like movie stars, night clubs, and weed.

If New York magically started to hate baseball, and the Mets left one year, then the Yankees left the next would you give them another team

I get the feeling from everything I read that LA will get a team.
What everyone is forgetting is there is money in LA. Maybe they didnt support the team before but someone there thinks they will now. Somebody who thinks they are going to make even more money out of the idea.
