| Will Smith contract It's sort of a good news, bad news situation for the Saints when it comes to DE Will Smith right now. The bad news is that Smith, who is in the last year of his contract, wants a new deal. The good news is that he showed up for his first voluntary workout of the season this week after missing more than two months of OTAs. Coach Sean Payton says the two sides are working out a new deal.
