Super Heroes?

The Sporting News lists both the New Orleans Saints and the Dallas Cowboys as teams that could reach the Super Bowl next season.

Obviously after last season, the Cowboys will be considered a better bet. But with an improved defense, the Saints could be in a line for a bounce back season.

The Times' Sports Free for All: Super heroes?

Saints looked pretty good year before last. Think they can come back this year with an improved defense?

Re: Super Heroes?

Possibly. They need to improve the D, as stated. They also better hope and pray that Deuce McAllister stays healthy. Without him, the offense just isn't the same. It'll be interesting to see what the Saints do in the draft, who they wind up going with.

I was going to say about the same thing. If McAllister isn't able to make it back, they better draft a RB. Bush can not carry the load of an every down back.

Pretty much. He went down at the end of September. Tore his ACL against the Titans.
