| Reggie Bush has torn PCL Saints coach Sean Payton confirmed Friday that Reggie Bush has a torn PCL in his left knee, but is hopeful Bush can play on Monday night. "If you just study the history of PCL injuries, I know they vary with each player, but it is an injury that you come back from," Payton said. "We'll monitor where he's at." Bush practiced without restrictions on Thursday, but felt sore on Friday and that led to an MRI which revealed the damage. The odds still seem heavily against Bush playing versus the Falcons. | Re: Reggie Bush has torn PCL Updated: December 8, 2007, 3:25 PM ET New Orleans Saints tailback Reggie Bush, who will not require surgery to repair a partially torn ligament in his left knee, will not play Monday night at Atlanta. Sources told ESPN and ESPN.com that the former Heisman Trophy winner is likely to miss the rest of the season. ESPN's Chris Mortensen first reported Friday afternoon that Bush had a partial tear of the posterior cruciate ligament, and Saints officials subsequently confirmed the injury.
