The Harlan Tribune - Cundiff signs with New Orleans Saints
Former HCHS standout Billy Cundiff has signed as a kickoff specialist with the New Orleans Saints. His first game with the 6-4 Saints will be Sunday, Nov. 26 at Atlanta.

In his last preseason game in early August with the Packers he had a 23 yard field in the third quarter and a second half kick off of 71 yards in the 17-3 loss to San Diego.

On August 17, the Green Bay Packers released the five year NFL veteran.

Is there any position in football more pointless than "kickoff specialist"? Seriously, why in the world would a football team carry two placekickers. I can barely see the need for seperate punters and placekickers!
