| Chris Paul: MVP Candidate Hornet's guard Chris Paul has got to be considered one of the top candidates for the NBA Most Valuable Player this season. Just last night, to chants of "M-V-P! M-V-P!" Paul scored 23 points and had 17 assists to lead New Orleans to their ninth straight victory. Paul is averaging 20.6 points, 10.7 assists and 4.0 rebounds per game in just over 37 minutes.
