| Hornets acquire David Wesley Back at the end of September, the New Orleans Hornets acquired G David Wesley from the Cleveland Cavaliers for forward Cedric Simmons. According to the Associated Press, "The 36-year-old Wesley was a little-used reserve in his lone season with Cleveland, averaging 2.1 points, 1.0 rebound and 1.1 assists.
