Vince Carter shot 12/33 from the field and 1/8 from three. He took 41shots! Lawrence Frank and/or Jason Kidd better demand that Carter not play 1 on 5 like the Lakers or the Pacers will upset the Nets.

Since when did we start grouping free throw attempts with field goal attempts? Most of the shots he took were high percentage he just had an off game. It happens. Would you rather see Kristic attempting shots over Jermaine O'Neal or Vince Carter attempting shots over Stojakovic?

Actually I was counting his 3 pt attempts - not his free throws (He attempted 8 freethrows and eight 3 pointers). But his eight 3 pointers are counted in the 33 shots so I stand corrected. Vince only hoisted 33 shots total.

This psuedo-outrage is kind of strange to me. Do you want everyone to have an equal number of shot attempts every game? Is 33 attempts ever acceptable? He had a bad game, but The Nets odds of winning are much higher if you have Carter shooting/penetrating with the ball rather than anyone else on that team. Don't kid yourself, Carter has to have a monster series for them to beat The Pacers. And its not going to help their cause if Franks stops runnning the offense through him.
