| Nets could acquire Jermaine O'Neal The New Jersey Nets are in talks with the Indiana Pacers for a trade that would bring Jermaine O'Neal to Jersey for Richard Jefferson and Nenad Krstic. According to what an anonymous source told the New York Post, "It was discussed, proposed, and then it was decided to wait until after the first (of July)." The odds of it getting done? "40 percent," according to said source.

| Re: Nets could acquire Jermaine O'Neal I'm still trying to understand why they brought back Carter... Anyway, Jefferson and Krstic for O'Neal. Well, they want a "real" big man but is that too steep of a price. One all-star and a guy who has the tools to be one. |
