| Nets win Game 1 The New Jersey Nets defeated the Toronto Raptors, 96-91, in Game 1 of their playoff series. According to the Associated Press, Richard Jefferson scored 28 points and Jason Kidd was just two points shy of a triple-double in the New Jersey victory. "He's a Hall of Famer," Nets coach Lawrence Frank said of Kidd. "The Nets didn't start winning until Jason Kidd came here six years ago, so obviously we are very fortunate. He's a huge reason for our success." So will their good fortune continue into Tuesday night's Game 2?
