after having successfully whooped and tarred the butts of a team known as the Rangers, the Devils have been sitting around, giggling and just inhaling the sweet smell of success.
I used to dislike the Devils, mostly because of Scott Stevens. now i think they are energized and inspiring. If they don't take the Cup, I will be very surprised. Brodeur seemed to not really be the talk of the NHL this year, with goalies like Miller and Huet taking the spotlight away - and now surpises like Emery, Ward and Roloson being the focus - but he's still the greatest out there.

hey - that was me.
wow. Crappee. Where were the members of the Devils, anyway? because some lethargic non shooting skaters took to the ice and failed to get fifteen shots on net or score one goal.
there are always the excuses - too much time on their butts (I believe i said they were giggling too). Whatever - is it good to be warmed up or rested? who knows? All I know is, next game there better be some old style Elias or I'm throwing in the towel on this whole predicting thing.

This is definitely gonna be the series to watch...to say the least. Its the fast go getters of the 'Canes and the crafty veterans who are hungry again in the Devils. Boy oh Boy what a treat. And just think, the winner of this is probably gonna be playing Ottawa. Just checked Canes 1-0.
