This is hardly big news, Paul Martin has been a Devil for years now - he was drafted by them in 2000 and has played in the big league for 4 seasons-
It's a multi year deal, no $$ yet.
He had 3 goals and 23 assists while playing in all 82 games of the 2006-07 campaign, and his 26 points was second among Devils defensemen.
Funny thing about this guy - we had a prime minister named paul martin - so just hearing that Paul martin did something out on the ice with the Devils, makes me smile.

They should have signed Alexander Vasyunov, stick him on the second line as left winger, with Zajac and Langenbrunner then move Zach Parise to centre, because he seems to have proved himself as a 1st liner that can score, ( 62 pts ) and with whatever room they have left sign Martin.
