TRENTON, N.J. -- One door closes, another one opens.
Such was the case in New Jersey’s capital city Friday, as the New Jersey Devils re-branded its ECHL franchise from the Trenton Titans to the Trenton Devils.
New Jersey President, General Manager Lou Lamoriello was on hand to discuss the change and said that a marketing plan is in place and will commence shortly as the Devils strive to put more fans in the seats at Sovereign Bank Arena.
“There’s no question that before this is launched, we had to do what we did today,” Lamoriello said. "All of those factors are in the works.”
