Brought this up in another thread, but is anyone surprised by how average Martin Brodeur has looked against Tampa Bay? Even the AP has taken note, writing that "Brodeur, a three-time Stanley Cup champion, entered the playoffs with a 1.89 career goals-against average, but has given up three in each game of the series. Tampa Bay also won three of four regular-season meetings against the goalie, who won a league-record 48 games."

The Devils are down 2-1 and their star goalie's getting outplayed by Johan Holmqvist. Never thought I'd be seeing this happen.

it's really disappointing to see Brodeur struggling and playing really bad. I just hope his pulls himself together

Hmm, could be I guess. He is getting up there a bit in years. Maybe they just plum wore him out.
