Tom Brady steroids

Tom Brady's name has recently surfaced in the ongoing steroid probe. According to published reports, Brady has in the past contacted Barry Bonds trainer. Brady says he just wanted a place to work out but that the two never met. Do you buy the New England quarterback's story?

Sure...superstars travel in the same circle...its a small universe to them...I don't see why not...aside from a little bulk to help him ont get dinged up... I don't see why a QB would go on the juice.

Re: Tom Brady steroids

There's no reason to doubt Brady. But like Gotham, I fail to see how roids would benefit a QB. Besides the nagging injuries, how? Id think they'd do more harm than good.

Apparently Bonds and Brady went too the same high school, I am sure they have met on more than one occasion and apparently Bonds put him in touch with his trainer and they talked on the phone. No one has done it yet, but condemning Brady based on these connections would be nothing more than guilt by association too the highest degree.

Re: Tom Brady steroids

i think most of the top athletes are so aware of what they do to their bodies

and like most have said they run in the same circles

i would imagine these athletes only trust a select group of trainers and therapists and the like

i remember a story of a female massage therapist (minds out of the gutter) and i believe she is now employed by the Padres, and she has many star athletes as clients

my point being, when a star finds someone they trust that works for them word gets out and everyone else wants them too, so it wouldnt surprise me at all if alot of athletes talked to Anderson but didnt buy steroids

Yeah, I tend to agree with all of you. In fact, just the fact that we're talking about possible ties between Tom Brady and BALCO based on a single phone call is evidence of what a crazy witch-hunt this has become, in my opinion. What's next; trying to link a guy because he shares the same dentist as Victor Conte, bumped into him in the waiting room and shared five minutes of small talk? It seems to be heading that way.
