| Pats Bring Back Gutierrez Although the New England Patriots have yet to sign a third quarterback to the roster in the wake of the season-ending knee injury suffered by Tom Brady, they’ve brought back a guy who was on the team in 2007. The team has announced that quarterback Matt Gutierrez has been signed to the practice squad. Gutierrez appeared in five games last season for the Pats. He was cut on August 30.
