Some of you dont like the Pats and are glad they lost the Super Bowl. This is shocking to a Bostonian, so here are ten reasons to embrace the Patriots. (if you see a Pats fan, give them a hug. You may laugh now, but after this you may see things in a different light. Ok, probably not)

1. Troy Brown-never showcases or in trouble. Personifies class and dignity.
2. Knowing rules-who knew before the 2002 Patriots there was a tuck rule and where to draw the line on spying. Without the Pats, you wouldnt be as knowledgeable fan as you are today.
3. One week at a time- every team says it, one team goes out and does it better. The Pats may lose but not because they were looking ahead. The Pats lost to the Giants in Super Bowl XLII because the Giants were a better team that day.
4. Spygate-you may have heard of this, it has been in the news now and again. The Pats did wrong, but had it been any other team it would have resulted in the loss of a 6th round pick and $25,000 fine.
5. If the Pats can make it, so can your team. There have been lots of bad teams but none were ever a model of incompetence like the Patriots. Just ask any Pats fan about Dick MacPherson or Rod Rust.
6. Tom Brady-Enjoy watching one of the best QB in the prime of his career
7. Pats have given what you want-drama, happiness, and a happy ending. Pats have gone 28-4 over the last two regular seasons but no Super Bowl. Kind of a crushing ending to their season.
8. Bob Kraft- what more could you want in a sports owner? Shut up, sign the check and stay out of the way.
9. Make the World a better place-The Pats generally stay out of trouble but have taken a couple of bad seeds with out any trouble following them (Moss and Dillon)
10. Don Tomasso- Bleacher Report writers know him but the rest of you dont. Don is a terrific guy who has been diagnosed with cancer. His wife is soon to give birth to their second child. The point here is at the end of the day we love sports and are loyal to our team. But step back once in a while to remember what is truly important in this world and what is a hobby we all enjoy on the side.
