Patriots' intangibles helped Moss to stay

Moss's agent Tim Di Piero said there were certain intangibles in New England that were in their favor. He said that some people look at a contract's success in terms of money, but there is more to life than money.
He said Randy found things with the Pats that had value. Things like friendships and his relationship with coaching staff and others in the organization.
Randy Moss and Bill Belichick have a mutual respect that is neat he stated.

ESPN - Patriots' 'intangibles' helped Moss make his decision to stay - NFL

His agent thought this was a sign of Randy growing up. I'd say so, wouldnt you?

indeed .... a lot of people waited all season for him to revert to the bad Moss ...... but it didnt happen .... of course winning helps ...... and he may never win it all with the Pats .. but i also dont think he will ever have a season of less then 10 wins

intangibles?...you mean winning...and winning a lot?

I would not go as far as calling him mature...he is only a few years removed from quitting on Oakland altogether

Andy Reid, who met with him during negotiations, called him mature on Mike & Mike the other day. That's good enough for me.

If they were really his friend, they would have offered him a better contract
