I think the team should set the example, don't you? In light of the bad press they keep getting.

True but my guess is that he isn't the only player in the NFL to ever have been caught using pot.

I'm just saying it has been done before. As far back as "Hollywood Henderson" for the Cowboys.

The team could take its own stand.

Re: Pats RB Faulk found with pot

If you took a stand against every NFL player doing some illegal substance, the game league would have enugh players left to fill out about 3 teams.

That may very well be true. If you want to follow that logic then why even have laws ? I can understand variances in penalties to a degree. Each case should stand on its own merit but to just brush them off is a slap in the face of the justice passed out to those who cannot afford a high priced lawyer.

Do the crime, do the time.

I'm shocked and appalled that you would dare say that athletes should be treated the same.

I dont think he would get any jail time or community service for just 4 joints.

No it doesnt? That doesnt really make sense.
And i know its illegal, but they set ur punishment by how much you have. I wasnt sayin it wasnt illegal. And 4 joints isnt enough for service or jail, thats my thought.

I think Q got a little confused there. But you are right, it goes by how much you have and in the larger scheme of things, 4 joints isnt enough for jail. Not sure about service.
