Thomas cut; will Pats bite?

Dolphins cut Zach Thomas.
The 34-year-old linebacker from Texas Tech said he plans to play with another team next season. Already there are rumors he could hook up with the New England Patriots.

Re: Thomas cut; will Pats bite?

He is just what they need- another washed-up linebacker looking for a free ride to the Super Bowl. Oh wait, that's Junior Say-Ow!

Re: Thomas cut; will Pats bite?

haha junior. that freakin guy. tries to get all deep and inspirational when someone asks him wat time it is. but i like bruschi. they are fools to let asante samuel go. sure he is more of a freelancer and gambles and occasionaly gets burned but he is there best corner. they need to get rid of ellis hobbs and randall gay. ellis hobbs is pretty much sole property of one marvin harrison (i giggle just remembering all the times marvin schooled that boy) and his 5'9 butt had no chance of covering a 6'5 burress in that go-ahead superbowl td. and randall gay cant stay on the field for a whole defensive series without gettin hurt

Come on, bears, are we gonna be stickers about staying on topic NOW? Ha ha!

Speaking of comparisons, who would you rather have - Thomas or Seau?

I dont know Seahawker, Bruschi is pretty darn good. Maybe its just that I admire him for overcoming his stroke and it sways my judgment a bit.

I'd rather have Thomas if it wasnt for those migraines. Maybe playing on Miami made his migraines worse and he will be ok now that he's out of there.

Come to think of it, playing for Miami would give anyone migraines. (And I am not making light of migraines here. I used to get them.)

Did some checking Seahawker. Looks like your friend is wrong.
Bruschi is 34, 12th season. Last year had 64 solos,28 assisted, 2 sacks, 0 interc. O FF
Tatupu is 25, 3rd season. Last year had 83 solos, 26 assised, 1 sack, 4 intercept, 3FF
