Wrong is wrong.

Barry Bonds is just as guilty whether he is alone or if there are 100 players doing it, just like any team is guilty of cheating that is taping.

It's not a Pats thing, it's a cheating thing. Pats fans, stop taking offense to it. If it was Dallas, I wouldn't defend them! The NFL didn't fine them and the coach a combined 750,000 just for run.

I know your response is not pointed at anyone (at least not me ... I dislike cheaters) and I most assuredly do not take offense to it even though I am a Pat's fan. I agree that cheating is cheating. Either you did it or you didn't. If you did, then you are guilty. It doesn't make any difference as to how many times you took the needle or how many games were taped. I again only stress that if penalties are going to be passed out then it needs to be done equitably. Anything short of that would make the whole process a sham.

Nope, I meant Pats fans in general.

Like you, I hope any teams that get caught get the same, if not more, punishment. I think that swift and tough punishment seems to be the only way to change folks ideas about cheating.

Whether it is NASCAR, the NFL, MLB, or any other form of sports!

Spectre is in the pocket of Comcast, his biggest campaign contributor, who are still sore at Goodell over his letting the country get Pats-Giants in december for free. Plus Spectre's lawyers are hooked up with Comcast in some way. Spectre ought to be ashamed for even getting involved in this obvious conflivt of interest, just as the Republicans and Democrats should be flogged for breaking along party lines with the Clemens hearing yesterday. The country must be in rather good shape if these elected officials have so much time to devote to pro sports.

Yep, couldn't agree more. Just because "everyone's doing it" doesn't make it right, and sports need to start cleaning themselves up somewhere.

of course not, the Jets cheat too, but I dont buy every team is doing it, not every team is cheats..

One thing bothers me about Goodell and the destroyed tapes. At first, didnt the NFL say they were destroyed because they couldnt keep them safe? And now Goodell says they were destroyed because in his mind the issue was handled and over with? Or was it the media saying the first?

Of course most of the teams cheat. Or if it makes one feel better, say that they take advantage of a situation.
Or do we draw a line between outright cheating and taking advantage?
