Can Pats have perfect encore? Schedule helps

Should the Patriots win today and complete a perfect season, the first question will be whether they can do it again. Suffice to say the schedule sets up benignly.
New England's 2008 opponents had a combined record of 99-157 in the '07 season. Compare that to the Colts, who will face teams that went 152-104.
Lest Colts fans start a conspiracy rant, 14 of 16 opponents were determined when the NFL realigned in 2002.

Oh no, here we go again. And the Super Bowl hasnt even been played yet.

A lot can change in a year. Some teams will be better, others will be worse. This year's record is not really an accurate measure of strength of schedule.

We are getting ahead of ourselves...I am sensing a Giants win, which will render this post meaningless...

Now, is that really a sense, or is that wishful thinking? Hmm... guess time will tell.
