Did the 1979 Patriots have better receivers than the 2007 Patriots?

Oka,y, so Moss broke a record or two, and Wes Welker had an ungodly amount of catches...are these the best receivers the Pats have seen?...

I personally like the 1979 Patriots...thye had both Harold Jackson and Stanley Morgan gain over 1,000 yards while averaging over 22 yards per catch...they also had Russ Frances at tight end to boot.

Moss flatlined last year at Okland...and Welker was average at Miami, so that could be. I am sticking by Morgan, Jackson and Francis.

Agreed. If it isn't thrown to you or not thrown well enough then you can't catch/score. It's Brady's fault these guys had big numbers.

The "perfect" combination
