| Pat's Starting to Taste It FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Facing as tall a mountain as has appeared on the NFL landscape for decades, Norv Turner was asked this week if it would take a perfect game to scale the New England Patriots. The San Diego Chargers coach paused, reflected and then reached for a desperate slice of hope on which to hang his team's fortunes in today's AFC Championship game. "I've never been involved in a perfect game," Turner said. "I don't think either team is going to play a perfect game, either." By nightfall in New England, the fiery Chargers coach may have a different view to all of that. In a business that measures success by wins and losses, yards gained and yards lost, the Patriots have been as close to perfect as is possible. winnipegsun.com - Football - Pats starting to taste it

| Re: Pat's Starting to Taste It Time will tell. This could be th eweek it happens although I don't think so. Two weeks from now may be a different story but ... I think we are more healthy than the rest. One advantage for us. |

| Re: Pat's Starting to Taste It Ya see Bears I look at it differently. I'm just tickled pink that the Pat's are where they are but ........ like in any other sport there is luck. I'm also humble enough to accept defeat when it occurs .. and it will. I just hope it doesn't happen this year. Had Dallas or the Colts or SD been the big winners this year I'd be fine with it. I've followed the Red Sox for years and have lived through some sad seasons. There is always next year and congrats always goes to the winners. |
