| Re: Jerry Rice Calls Randy Moss Comments a 'Slap in the Face, But That's Typical of R One need not be a media man or a fortune teller to see that Moss will have troubles when he is done playing. If he had simply had the class to acknowledge that Rice's record was a great achievement-he only took 12 games to score 22 TDs-then there would be no story. But Moss, as is typical, made it all about himself.

| Re: Jerry Rice Calls Randy Moss Comments a 'Slap in the Face, But That's Typical of R It really pains me to say this but unless there was more to it than was reported in the first post, I believe much ado is being made about nothing. It was kind of a slap because the focus was on Moss, he said its about me basically. Usually players are respectful of those who have gone before but Moss lacks respect for anyone. But I dont think his attention was to slam Rice. Who was the classiest most incredible receiver ever. Moss has a long way to go to catch up with Rice's style.

Please Simon, Rice partially made Montana and Young...Moss has a history of playing when he wants to play...you can't be serious that they are even in the same league...maybe Moss and TO...but Moss is no Rice. |

He is of the opinion that when the Pats win this game they will not be better than the Dolphins. They will be tied for the record. He said it doesn't matter how many games they win. They will be tied for winning percentage. Does this sound like a guy grasping? __________________ "People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. | Re: Jerry Rice Calls Randy Moss Comments a 'Slap in the Face, But That's Typical of R Just a bit. But then, I always thought the whole thing of those guys getting together to drink when other teams got close was lame! I'm sure if it was me, I'd do the same thing, and it would be lame then too! Part of me is glad the Pats got it. At least I won't have to see them anymore! The Pats guys are all still playing, so at least the accomplishment is current. |
