Patriots vs Giants

this week we have the Patriots vs the Giants

it's on the stupid NFL Network but luckily i just found out i will be able to see it here on local TV

the Pats will extend their own record of regular season wins with #16 this season ...... i dont think the Giants could beat them at full strength and NY is expected to rest some starters

Brady needs 2 passing TD's to set the record .... Moss needs 2 receiving TD's to set that record

Re: Patriots vs Giants

All the records will be set, the Pats will go 16-0, and the Giants will be unfairly dogged for resting players, even though it's the smart thing to do.

Re: Patriots vs Giants

Brady will get two TDs to break his they will both be to Moss and he will get his record. Patroits win this 31-10 and go unbeaten.

Seems as though it will be more than locally. Must be the nation wants to see them break all the records. I guess that just makes the Pat's "America's Team" for sure now.

Re: Patriots vs Giants

it should be interesting to see how they play in the playoffs against teams that are good.not saying they havnt played good teams already just saying they almost lost to the only team miami beat they almost lost to the eagles and scored a season low against the jets so i think they play good in playoffs but they will have to play at the top of there game as i expect they will to beat the jags, colts,or hopefully the TITANS.

Re: Patriots vs Giants

NEW YORK (AP) - After weeks of insisting they wouldn't cave in, NFL officials did just that Wednesday. Now all of America can see the Patriots' shot at history.
Saturday night's game between New England and the New York Giants on the NFL Network, which is available in fewer than 40 percent of the nation's homes with TVs, will be simulcast on CBS and NBC.
The Patriots could become the first NFL team to go 16-0 in the regular season.
"We have taken this extraordinary step because it is in the best interest of our fans," commissioner Roger Goodell said in a statement after the league announced it was reversing course.
NFL Network spokesman Seth Palansky said officials would have no further comment Wednesday.

That looks good. My nephews want me to take them to see that.

I'll probably wind up watching the game. Might be the only chance I'll have to see a team finish a 16-0 regular season.

I hope I get to see the game. I have a sick wife and son. They both have strep. I shipped my 2 daughters to their grandma's house so they don't get it. We'll see if they stay asleep.

Re: Patriots vs Giants

Well, lo and behold, I turned on the tv and at the half, its Giants 21 Pats 16.
Both teams have been playing their starters, but I think I saw the Pats' back up qb warming up and now we will never know if the Giants could beat them.
Even though they have been winning, it seems to me that the Pats have been playing poorly against teams they should have had no problems taking out.
And its so great that the game is on all those networks and everyone got to see Wilfork sticking his finger into the eye of Jacobs. Unfortunately, the zebras missed it.

Re: Patriots vs Giants

So the Pats keep their perfect record. That was one of the best meaningless games I have seen. Pats 38 Giants 35 and they did keep their starters in.
Eli played a great game. If he would play like that always, it would be pretty scary in the Cowboys division. Sometimes he must just go with his instincts, and when he does, he plays really well.

This is probably going to be one of the best games of the weekend.

The Giants absolutely shut down the Pat's running game for just about the entire game. Just for the record, one more time. Any given team can lose on any given day. What was touted as a runaway victory for the Pat's was once again an almost defeat for them.
