Everytime he addresses the media or you see him on tv he shows no emotion, no enthusiam after a win or anything, he never smiles, and doesnt seem to care really, just goes through the motions, I can understand the whole getting caught cheating thing would stress you out, but hes like a freaking robot..maybe hes stoic..

So just exactly what is an acceptable attitude ? If he were to be loud and brash someone would complain about that. Which coaches are acceptable in behavior ???

most coaches show emotion, If they lose and there was some questionable calls they show that theyre mad or displeased. When they win and things go right, they show theyre happy and pleased. Belicichick shows neither, Theres no fire in him, Hes just a blank expression, like hes dead or something. most coaches would love to on a winning streak and yet he seems like he doesnt care, well we won another one, time to get ready for next week..show some freaking life..

Rumor has it that, away from the media spotlight, he's funny - a bit of a clown. I find that kind of hard to believe, considering.

I don't see anything wrong with him playing things so conservatively. What he lacks in personality he makes up for in Super Bowl rings. Fair tradeoff.

All those things said above maybe true, but he's still a robot. He may be a great coach, got a great team, Super Bowl rings, etc. but he's a robot.
But then again I did see him show a big smile and pleasure the time Doug Flutie made that drop kick field goal.

So what you are saying is that every Dr. MUST have a good bedside manner. Every Mechanic must greet you with a smile on his/her face. All women are good mothers. None of the above statements are true and Belichicks demeanor while on the job is what it is. I have to believe the Kraft family is OK with it as are all the Patriot fans. You see him for 4 hours while he is trying to get a win. His focus is on strategy and obviously cares little about his appearance in front of the camera and his attitude as observed by others.

I do understand what you are saying but if it wasn't this the fans would be complaining about running up the scores .... wait ... we already did that. What's next. You've only got a couple games left.

No, I never talked talked about Doctors or mechanics or women. I said the patriots coach is a robot. Shows no emotion or fire for the game.

Two of the most beloved players in sports IMO are Shaq and Tiger. Have you ever heard them when they talk to the media? They sound like they are reading from a script. They don't really want to be doing it, but it is part of their job. I would not be too enthused if I had to do something I hated everyday.
