I don't think people dislike the Patriots players but it's impossible to like Bill Belicek. He's got Barry Bonds disease: He's a sour, miserable person.

I question every response like this. There are 168 hours in a week and if you watch every Pat's game you'll see him maybe for 4 hours per week. Not even that in reality since he isn't on camera all the time. What do you know about him for all those other hours .... factually?

But LSC, thats what we are basing our responses on, what we see for those 4 hours a week. In addition to that, there is the video taping thing, and the non hand shaking thing, and the robot thing. What else did I miss here.
Off camera, all I know is that he cheated on his wife. Come on, if he wasnt the coach for the Pats, you would be one of the first to say the same things about him.

I don't hate the Pats, but I have a bad taste in my mouth about them this year. I traded Brady away on my fantasy team. I can't bear to see them play this great.

I don't know Belichick at all, but he does come off as a disgruntled person. I think I even heard that he is having problems with his children.

Now to defend them a little.
1. I am rooting for them to go undefeated because it is something that will not happen every year. It will be fun to see.

2. They did not cheat

3. They did not run up the score. It is there job to score everytime they get the ball. Are the other teams telling them they will quit trying to win if they stop scoring?? I don't think so. I can see the last minute taking a knee, but some people want them to quit playing after the 3rd quarter.

Playing the game. Do not be naive enough to think he is the first one to think of this idea. Madden said he had a guy with binoculars trying to get signals. Coaches to this day cover their mouths when they are calling plays because they don't want any lip readers seeing what they are calling. Is it sportsmanlike...probably not, but I would not call them cheaters.

What is the difference from video taping what they did to watching game film of the team. I have watched some of them, and you can see the opposing team calling plays. This was just an attempt to put a chink in the armor by a guy that used to do it for Belichick.
