I agree, to an extent. But you have to put that play behind ya. If they Ravens had let down after that, I'd way yes. But they didn't/ They just got screwed. |

| Re: Patriots vs Ravens I actually thought that Baltimore should have declined the motion penalty on fourth down after the timeout fiasco and make the Pats perhaps try to run for it again. Once they accepted the penalty, I knew they wouldn't stop them. They then proceeded to let Brady run for 13 yards, and that was the game right there.

| Re: Patriots vs Ravens Needless to say I'm happy with the way it ended but not at all proud of the way they played. There were some very, very poor calls by the refs and some very stupid plays by both sides. NE's offense stunk and the Baltimore defense was far more than what the Pat's anticipated. I'm not sure how many times Brady was sacked but in the 1st half his protection was minimal. As I stated last night I won't brag about that mess. I may even just sit very quietly in my corner and hope that no one comes looking for me. Any given team can be beaten at any given game ..... this proves it. We have literally been beaten in the last two games. The rest of the season is looking pretty good but they better shape up or the Giants will bury them. (I now quietly leave the room) |

| Re: Patriots vs Ravens Thats 2 games in a row the Pats werent at their best. The Ravens D was awesome. I am not sure which holding call was in question, but if it is really questionable it will be explained on Access on Wednesday by the head of the officiating league. And dont say that he is always on the side of the refs, cause it isnt true. He admits when they goof. Only thing is there are so darn many rules a lot of times we arent aware of them. Good calls, bad calls, part of the game. No one wants to see the Pats get beat more than I (and most of America) but thats the way it goes. On the touchdown, dont forget there has to be indisputable evidence. He wasnt juggling the ball, he had fingertip control but he had control. That one will probably be on Access Wednesday. Thats the way I saw it anyway. Isnt Maroney the young stud and Faulk the old guy? It appeared Faulk was having a whole lot more success running than Maroney. Ravens had success running and it seems that has come up before---to beat the Pats, run the ball, run the ball run the ball. They have 4 more games to hold on to their record, and I dont think Belichek will pull his starters at any time. I think he goes for the whole enchilada.

| Re: Patriots vs Ravens The Patriots are like the villain in a scary move, you think you killed them then you look at your watch or phone and you see it has only been an hour, and you think they aren't really dead. Then they come back into the movie with about 10 minutes left. And at the end of the movie they kill someone run off and wait for the 5th or 6th sequel

| Re: Patriots vs Ravens Bette, according to the review that was done in reference to the last NE touchdown, they said just what you said. He was not fumbling the ball and did have fingertip control. It was late last night when it was done so I jumped off right away. Otherwise I may have discussed that point a bit. I also didn't want to appear like the "I told you so" type of person. They flat out played terrible and were very lucky to notch a victory last night. |

| That TD catch was good...It was the holding that was called on 4th down that was a joke. That flag came out after the play. If there is holding it should be called IMMEDIATELY. And there was no hold. If anything, it was illegal contact and that goes on during every play. This goes in any sport: YOU CAN'T DECIDE A GAME ON A MARGINAL CALL. |

| Re: Patriots vs Ravens Anyone else watching NFL Access and see Mike Pereira? I wasnt sure what holding call was being questioned but if it was the one he talked about I dont know why anyone would think that was not holding. Defender had his arm around the receiver well past the 5 yards. About the td, he said it was so close that if he was the ref, he would have had to go with how it was called on the field. Had it been originally called incomplete, he would have had to go with that. The ref in question with Rolle is African American, so dont know why he would have called him boy. Pereira also said everything being written is being taken out of context. |
