As any one of those guys if they had to choose between records or rings. I guarantee you 99% of them would trade the records in a heartbeat to have the chance to hoist the Lombardi Trophy during their careers. To the players that achieved it, the 16-0 with a playoff loss would be meaningless. Those Mariners legend mentioned. How many people talk about how great that team was? Not many.

Its unfortunate I think, but you are right. The ring and trophy are everything to the players. I doubt if many of them would talk about 16-0 without the ring. I just disagree with it though.
