In some way, you may be correct. But when was the last true surprise?? For the most part, you are what your record is, and as much as we may not like it, o in the loss column is what it is.

Some folks say they are lucky not to have lost some of the close games. IN that case, Dallas in lucky that Buffalo didn't take them down. And I like Dallas, but they really should not have won that one. But the cream truly does rise to the top. I'm just being realistic about it.

The one thing that can happen to good teams is turnovers. That NFC championship with the Niners was just sickening to me, watching the 'Boys throw that game away in the first five minutes. But San Fran was also a great team. And it takes a great team to take advantage. I don't see the Pats losing until the post season, if at all. And the fact that one game sends the losers home gives any team better odds of winning, since it only takes one bad play to end it all!

WHEN ???? How about against Philly?? I don't believe anyone thought the game would be that close. Granted they didn't lose in reality but when you consider the point spread ... they lost in a big way. With that said I understand they did not lose and have no losses at all but even though I am a Pat's fan I still believe that any team on any given Sunday can take them down. Will it be a piece of cake ??? No I don't think so. Right now they have the advantage. They are just that good but who can foresee a close game and an interception that puts an end to the streak ?? No one can for sure so I stick with my feeling that it can be anyone. Obviously in the stats race it wouldn't seem like it will be Baltimore.

I consider a surprise when they lose. But I get your point! I'm not as die hard against your guys as you might think. I have all the respect for the team in the world, and I think the "cheating" deal is WAY blown out of proportion. But being that good brings out the haters eventually!

The Cowboys have a love em or hate em following. Even when they are bad. It just comes with the success. The Yankees, Lakers , Cowboys, Celtics, all of em have folks that love em or hate em. It is almost a tribute to those teams and their success.

I wold just enjoy it, and laugh us off!

Trust me Phil I take nothing personal here. I give every bit as much as I can take. Ask Bette. My whole thing with the Pat's is, and in reality it is the same with any team/event I like, they can be beaten. As for the cheating scandal ... ehhh. I take that with a grain of salt. Right, wrong, true, false .. who really knows. I'm a sports observer. If I made the rules we'd probably have fewer sports. Easy for me to say.

Re: Who Will Beat the Patriots?

If nothing else, the Giants might beat the Pats. I think there's a good chance they'll go undefeated, but if they get to Week 17 without a loss, Belichick might decide to save Brady and the starters for the playoffs - he's not the kind of coach to push for the undefeated regular season.

I think he's exactly the kind of coach that would do that, especially this year.

Show of hands...after the Cowboys took care of the Pats to go 11-1...how many think they will win the Super Bowl rematch?

I assume you mean after they took care of the Pack.
I am afraid they have to get a whole lot better before they can win a rematch against the pats in the Super Bowl. I'm not saying they wont, I'm saying they have a ways to go yet.

Hmm, 1 bad game out of New England isn't enough to convince me of this. Now if they have another close game this week, then we'll talk.

The worst thing that could happen for the Cowboys is for the Pats to lose a game. That'll just refocus them.
