In some way, you may be correct. But when was the last true surprise?? For the most part, you are what your record is, and as much as we may not like it, o in the loss column is what it is.
Some folks say they are lucky not to have lost some of the close games. IN that case, Dallas in lucky that Buffalo didn't take them down. And I like Dallas, but they really should not have won that one. But the cream truly does rise to the top. I'm just being realistic about it.
The one thing that can happen to good teams is turnovers. That NFC championship with the Niners was just sickening to me, watching the 'Boys throw that game away in the first five minutes. But San Fran was also a great team. And it takes a great team to take advantage. I don't see the Pats losing until the post season, if at all. And the fact that one game sends the losers home gives any team better odds of winning, since it only takes one bad play to end it all!
