The guys on ESPN's 1st & Ten are talking about how the Patriots vs. Colts game failed to live up to the hype. I think they're nuts - it was an incredible game. Looked like the Pats were going to get knocked off, they couldn't stop the run, and them - BAM! - they come back in the fourth quarter, win a competitive game and ultimately frustrate their nemeses again. So, what this game an instant classic or an overhyped bore?

I agree with you, Lefty. It wasn't quite a classic, but it was a VERY good game.

It lived up to it...though in a different way...people were not expecting the defenses that turned out.

Hmm, yeah, maybe that's at the heart of the issue here - it wasn't the shootout people expected, so they were disappointed. Still a great game though.

I never did expect a shoot out, not with those two defenses involved. It wasnt a classic, but it was a darn good game.
