Wow, the Pats can never be counted out. They came back to win 24-20 late in the fourth quarter.

They're bound to win eventually.

16-0 seems even more likely now

Re: Patriots vs Colts

The Colts gave the Patriots as good a ride as it can get but their overwhelming talent just was too much for the Colts. I read all week on various sites about supposed weakness for the Pats. That the linebackers are past 30 years old and get tired as the game wears on. That if you get physical with them the Pats will crumble. The linebackers were ferocious and the Colts played a good physical game but not good enough to beat the Patriots. Frankly I don't think ANY team can beat them unless it's the end of the season, homefield in clinched and they just play not to get injured. Nice effort by the Colts and I know they missed a few players but even if they had them I think tha Pats would have won and will win Superbowl XLII. I just hope my Giants win the NFC just to play in that game!

Still even with Harrison the Colts D looked tired in the 4th quarter and Pats had that "i'm gonna get ya" look about them. The Pats cut through the Colts secondary like a hot knife through butter with little pass rush on Brady in the 4th. IMO Harrison wouldn't have made a difference but others might think differently.

Also keep in mind that we gave you over 130 yards in penalties

He could have on those first two drives that ended in FGs...I think when a team down to two receivers gives you all you can handle, you might be a bit overrated.

The Colts are great no doubt about it but simply not as good as the Pats. The Pats got phantom pass interference calls against them all day. The massive yardage in those silly PI calls more than makes up for Harrison or any other of their players being absent. My 2 cents.

Re: Patriots vs Colts

That was an incredible game. And after all the talking-up I did on the Colts defense, their secondary absolutely fell to pieces at the end.

Re: Patriots vs Colts

Two points. The Colts lost this game by continually kicking the abll to Wes Welker. Second, I thought Rodney Harrison was the dirtiest player in the league, but I was wrong.
