| Patriots' Punishment Belichick fined $500,000 Pats fined $250,000 Loss of first round pick in 08 if they make playoffs Loss of second and third round picks in 08 if they don't make playoffs WOW!  Obviously the commish found this to be much more serious than anyone could have imagined.

| Re: Patriots' Punishment The fines are big, Belichick got the highest fine possible. However, the draft picks, not a big loss. The Pats still have a 2nd first rounder from San Francisco. I agree with the ESPN talking heads who say the league expected a suspension. |
