Question Is Tom Brady Holding Back Hall Of Famers

that's right, i want to know if the future Hall of Fame QB, Tom Brady, is holding other players back from making it in .......... please, allow me to explain

i believe Troy Aikman is in the HOF in a large part because Michael Irvin caught so many of his passes ...... i also believe Irvin made the Hall because Troy threw to him so much

so, im wondering ....... would any Patriots WR have more of a chance if Brady didnt spread it around so much ?

dont get me wrong, im not at odds with the way Tom runs his offense, gotta love all the rings ......... im just wondering if maybe Troy Brown would have a better shot at the Hall if Brady ran it more through him ....... or anyone else for that matter

Nope!...not even had Terry Glenn stayed...not enough talent...Randy Moss will be the first HOFer type he gets to throw to...

Hell no, not even a question. Naming the best wideouts Brady has played with is a list like Troy Brown, the kid who went to Seattle who I forget....and now Moss.

Neither will get in the HOF, IMO. Moss had too many down years.

Naw, Moss has the numbers...a few more years and few will have his numbers...unless he is a total, total bust in New England

but seriously, from what your saying, i think it says a lot about the Patriots offense ........ Brady doesnt really spread the ball around by design, he does it because he has never had a WR good enough to be open all the time .... so he has to throw it to 8 different people a game

Moss would have to have a huge rebound in New England over the next few years if he is to make it to the Hall.

I get it, this is all about stroking the ego of the Pats fans

The Patriots have had great offenses despite the fact they barely had any superstars on the squad. Until Corey Dillon came over, they had very average backs (at least in the eyes of most) but they all performed. They were "clutch", "smart", "fundamentally sound" and perhaps most of all, fit The Genius' system. And having a player like Brady leading the charge doesn't hurt either.

I think that's it right there Simon. If Irvin had never been open or able to make the play, then he wouldnt have so many balls thrown to him. Pats have had some good players, but because they were part of the system. The only HOF I see there now is Brady and Belicheck.

Re: Is Tom Brady Holding Back Hall Of Famers

Brady has just now gotten Moss and Stallworth to throw to, those two I could see eventually getting there, well Moss more than stallworth but either way Brady hasnt had great wr's to work with in the past..
