I see him messing up the chemistry of the Patriots. Bill Belichik isn't going to be happy when Moss takes off plays that don't involve him directly. Remember what Terrell Owens did to the Eagles.

Yeah, fantasy wise, he'll be a good later-round gamble. Brady has made worse receivers look good, I'll tell ya that (Branch, Patten, etc.)

I don't know Simon. The Pats have never really had a star, they've always been a team first type bunch. Yes of course Brady is a god but even so when they play in the Superbowl they are simply introduced at the New England Patriots, not individual introductions. To be a Patriot means to be unselfish and Moss doesn't fit that mold. And despite that I don't see them cutting Moss in the middle of the season and leaving them shorthanded.

Corey Dillon supposedly didn't fit the Pats mold either, Nuke, and that worked out okay for them. My feeling is, if anyone is going to make it work with a guy like Moss, it's Belichick. Everyone knows that they have a proven track record, that they've found success doing things a certain way. So I'd hope a guy like Moss is smart enough to come in and say, "If I do things their way, odds are good I'll finally get my Super Bowl ring."

The Pats are pretty scary and most people think they are going to get the big one this year so I'm not going to shoot my mouth off about this one.
However, TO will get more touchdown passes.

well, what i quoted from vince should cover your question

though i dont see why players dont just get listed as whatever position they have to to fit the jersey # they want ....... Moss could be listed as a back-up QB and still lineup at WR ........ i know Miami had a backup QB play WR sometimes (i think his name was Jensen, his jersey was #11)

NFL issued a numbering system in 19..uh, I don't know but they did so this way you can tell who was playing what position in the group of players huddled on the field. Those are the rules and when it comes to recievers it's 80-89 and 11-19. That's the way it is, I believe people like it and I seriously doubt it's going to change...unless of course Scott Boras wants it to!
