ESPN is reporting that the Pats have cut Willie McGinest, who most likely will wind up in Cleveland with Romeo Crennell. What do you guys think of the move? Who does New England have to replace him?

Life is hell.

I love McGinest! I've even had him on two Madden teams!

The only justification i can think of for this is to clear cap space to resign Vinatieri.

No one. They have no one to put in his place right now.

There is this huge belief in Bellichik Land that it doesn't matter who plays in the scheme, it's the scheme that works. Terry Glenn's petulance was nothing. The loss of Ty Law was taken. The Pats played games without Teddy Bruschi adequately. The running game, first with aging Awtawn Smith then slightly disappointing Corey Dillon, has been compensated for and used to its maximum potential.

But i get paranoid every time they lose a high-caliber guy.
