2006 New England Patriots Football Schedule

As dominant as Bill Belicheck's team has been throughout the years, how do you think they will fare during the upcoming season?

The 2006 New England Patriots Football Schedule looks like this:

Home - Buffalo, Miami, N.Y. Jets, Houston, Indianapolis, Chicago, Detroit, Denver

Away - Buffalo, Miami, N.Y. Jets, Jacksonville, Tennessee, Green Bay, Minnesota, Cincinnati

Can the Pats win their division again in '06, or will one of the other AFC East dethrone them?

If the Patriots stay healthy, resign Vinatieri, and work on fixing up that secondary, they should win the AFC East no problem. The Jets shouldn't contend. The Bills aren't exactly threatening. And, the Miami Dolphins are close, but shouldn't be able to top the Patriots.

Re: 2006 New England Patriots Football Schedule

Cheers Lefty and everyone,

I like this schedule. Last year, the Patriots were a shell of their championship selves and were able to slack into enough breathing space over their division mates to let Flutie drop kick in the final game. They will win the division and...well, more in a second.

All the difficult games are at home: Indy, Denver (who won't be as good as they were this past season) and Chicago. Their road schedule is puff; what was the last team to go 8-0 on the road?

With Vinatieri, this Patriots team will go all the way. Without Vinatieri, i can easily imagine two to three games blown with their comeback/heart attack style of play; hopefully this will not occur during the playoffs.

And i would love to see them beat Manning and co. in the tournament again...
