| Harrison To Miss Patriots Jets Playoff Game The New England Patriots will go into their grudge match playoff game against the New York Jets without safety Rodney Harrison. Coach Bill Belichick said Wednesday during a news conference that Harrison, who was hurt during the Patriots' season-ending 40-23 win over the Tennessee Titans, will not play on Sunday. He said the Patriots have no plans to put Harrison on the injured reserve list, leaving open the possibility he could return if the Patriots advance. According to Boston-area media reports, Harrison has a sprained medial collateral ligament and could be out for two to four weeks. Harrison went to the ground and slapped the turf after being blocked by Titans receiver Bobby Wade, whose helmet appeared to hit Harrison's right knee in a low block. He walked off the field on his own. ESPN.com - NFL - Injured Harrison will miss Patriots-Jets playoff game
