| Seau Plans To Play In '07 There will be no retirement speech from Junior Seau in the near future. Seau, out for the season after breaking his right forearm in a game two weeks ago, said yesterday he plans to return to the NFL for an 18th season next year. “I'm going to be back,” Seau said. “I don't know which helmet I'll wear, but I'm definitely going to be back.” The former Oceanside High, USC and Chargers great, who turns 38 next month, signed a one-year deal with the Patriots in training camp and immediately won the starting job at middle linebacker. Used almost exclusively on early downs or in run situations, he still ranks third on the team in tackles (69) despite missing the past two-plus games. FOXSports.com - Ben Maller
