| Patriots Playoff Tickets Patriots Playoff Tickets New England football fans may have enjoyed an embarrassment of riches in recent years, but there was a time when Patriots playoff tickets were a rare thing indeed. As the Boston Patriots, the team reached the AFL Championship game in just their fourth year of existance, as a team led by the likes of Gino Cappelletti and Nick Buoniconti went 7-6-1 and won the league's eastern division before losing to the Chargers. Following that, though, was a playoff drought that lasted through the AFL-NFL merger and wasn't snapped until 1976, when the 11-3 New England Patriots lost in the opening round to the Raiders. That's a far cry from the franchise that won four AFC Championships, three Super Bowls and made seven playoff appearances in a 10 years span from 1996 through 2005, and continues to be a force in the NFL today. Purchasing Patriots Playoff Tickets So assuming that the team will continue to be a force in the NFL for years to come, how can fans buy Patriots playoff tickets? Well, it's easier said than done. According to the team's official website, season ticket holders will have the first option to purchase postseason game passes each season, with instructions being provided when and if the Pats close in on qualifying for the playoffs. Furthermore, if the team is fortunate enough to participate in the Super Bowl, then each season ticket holder will be entered into a random drawing, and only a select few will have the opportunity to purchase coupons to attend the big game. Considering that the team currently has a lengthy waiting list for such tickets, and that a $100 deposit is required just to apply to for inclusion in the queue, it sounds as though securing the right to see an NFL playoff game at Gilette Stadium will definitely be an uphill battle. So has anyone here been lucky enough to ever see a Patriots playoff game?
