Patriots interested in Randle El

Apparently, there are rumblings out there that one of the teams interested in free-agent WR Antwaan Randle El is the New England Patriots. This makes a lot of sense to me. We all know of Belicheck loves those multi-tasking players, and Randle El can catch, throw, run reverses and return kicks. The only question is, can they afford his $3-4 million projected salary?

They can if they don't intend on keeping Givens. Although Randle El seems a bit high profile for Belichick and company, but it's not like he's never surprised us before. After all, Rodney Harrison wasn't supposed to fit in here either.

True, Harrison and Corey Dillon as well. I don't think Dillon's been the home-run many thought he would, but he has been a nice pick-up. Of course, now the Eagles have apparently started courting Randle El, so time will tell if this actually happens or not.
