Tom Brady MVP?

Well, according to a Nov. 1 article from McClatchy Newspapers, Brady is at the very least the MVP of the first half. The New England QB has thrown for nearly 1600 yards, 14 TDs, a 61.6% and a 92.2 passer rating for the 6-1 Pats.

So, do you guys agree that he's the first-half MVP?

I think there is a guy name Peyton Manning that might just beg to differ...his numbers are better and his team is undefeated...we will see this week I guess...

I would say Peyton is the MVP as it stands now as well, but a test will be given Sunday night

Re: Tom Brady MVP?

I agree with soriano. Right now, you gotta go with the QB of the undefeated team (although they do it every year and we expect them to go at least 9-0 lol). However, by the time the season comes to a close things will likely even out and we'll have Brady challenging.

But thinking more closely, are there any other viable candidates at this point?

Cool Re: Tom Brady MVP?

I think you have to count McNabb in the short list. Without him, the Eagles might have no wins.

that's not always a good indicator

if Notre Dame played the University of Maine every game of the year ND would win every time

would that mean ND is the best team in the country because they are undefeated ?

of course not

now im not saying all of Mannings wins are as easy as ND beating UMO just saying undefeated doesnt always mean best

Try to imagine the Chiefs without Larry Johnson.

Didn't McNair just recently throw his first TD pass? I don't think he's the MVP. Brady, Manning, McNabb, LJ, LT have to be on the list. What about Brees? Does he garner any votes for the Saints success, or are there too many other contributors? Anyone from the Bears? Grossman? Urlacher?

Re: Tom Brady MVP?

LJ, as in Larry Johnson or LJ Smith?

Both of them have been splendid assests to their organizations this year.

LJ Smith and Splendid assets do not go well together there hoss...384 yards and 2 Tds does not a splendid asset make.

The guy had two good games to kick off the season and has since disappear...
