Randy Moss Patriots trade rumors

ESPN's John Clayton is reporting that there's a slight chance that Randy Moss will be a member of the New England Patriots by the end of the day today. This is the NFL trade deadline, and Clayton's reporting that the Raiders and Pats are talking about a possible deal. Again, the odds appear to be very minute, but... wow, what if it happens?

Re: Randy Moss Patriots trade rumors

this would be great for the Pats

he is for sure worth the #1 pick they got from the Seahawks

i think he seems to be a bit of a handfull right now, but i think most of that has to do with the team he is on

i bet his attitude would take a huge turn for the better if he was on a better team

everyone asks if the Pats could handle him, but i dont think it would be that bad

like i said, it's amazing how well people act when they are winning

Re: Randy Moss Patriots trade rumors

Quote:
Receiver Doug Gabriel was asked how a player like wideout Randy Moss -- his former teammate with the Raiders -- might fit in New England. Moss has said he'd be open to a trade.
``I think he would be a fit in this offense, or anything," Gabriel said. ``I've said it a million times, if Randy was here, every other receiver would want to pick up their games 110 percent. When he came out there [to Oakland], he made me step my game up.
``Randy probably works harder than any person I know. He'll do whatever it takes."

Hochstein injury may limit the option play - The Boston Globe
i agree totally

it would be win-win for everyone

Moss would play better on a winner, and the others would play better as well

Randy Moss is a great headache to have...and really what headache does he really produce different from any high profile receiver? Hes not TO so hes not gonna shut down your team chemistry. He wants to win and he wants to help make the big plays, and he can make those big plays...however as a longtime Bills fan putting Moss in the hands of the Pats would prob make me cry. Thats all the Bills need is another Patriots Super Bowl Win to make them feel real good about our chances this and next season and beyond

Wink Re: Randy Moss Patriots trade rumors

yeah randy moss would make new england an even better team
but i dont see him ending up there because atlanta needs a wr who can catch
the ball really well. even though they said they didnt want him when he was on the vikings.
i think they may change their mind because they got rid of mora and it looks like the falcons are going in a diferent direction next year.

but what ever happens to him i hope he has a good year because im not a fan of TO so i want moss to beat him career td's and yards.

Hey, there.

You should take a minute to sign up, mossfan.

It's always funny to see that TO fans hate Randy Moss, while Moss fans dishonor TO. You can't like both, as I understand.

Re: Randy Moss Patriots trade rumors

[Randy Moss is awesome and being a life long Pats fan , it would be amazing to see him opposite Donte on the field , but with regard to a # 1 pick for him , NO WAY !!!! Branch was coming into his prime and Moss has definitely seen his best days already . Moss would get 65 - 75 catches up in New England , think about it , Washington , Welker , Stallworth , Caldwell and Jackson + they are seriously thinking about bringing Troy Brown back also . I don't think a team in the Nfl would cough a number # 1 for him and least of all the Patriots .

he is only 30 yrs old still could have another 5 yrs of decent productivity left

i also still think people will be amazed at just how his attitude will change being on a winning team ......... this is the first time he has started a season basically assured of making the playoffs

Same things were said of Corey Dillon, turns out he was a huge big time team guy and great for the lockerroom morale. Randy Moss will flourish here, and now Brady has that weapon, we'll see just how good he is. I can't wait.

Gotta love ya Simon...you dislike these attitude problems (like TO) until they end up showing up on your favorite team...

I like Dillion...and of course I like Moss (except for owning him last year in fantasy)...this is a great signing...and all for a 4th pick?...I hate to say it...but Moss will help Brady against the Colts depleted secondary.

Moss is still considered, in my opinion, one of the better recievers in the game.
