Cool Belichek/Mangini

Why does Bill Belichek have to act like such an idiot? He should be happy a guy he mentored for 10 years got an opportunity to coach. I'm not saying he has to be buddy buddy with Mangini, but to treat him now like he's dirt, is way out of line. As much as I think Belichek is a great coach, he showed me what type of person he is.

Re: Belichek/Mangini

Hey, that's how Parcells treated Belichick - not saying its right, but as the columnist points out, these guys are very ego-centric. It's all about them and their team, and if Mangini leaves New England to go coach a division rival? Maybe he's viewed as a traitor. Not saying its right, far from it. Its a terrible way to live your life, but that seems to be the choice many of these guys make.

Re: Belichek/Mangini

Mangini had a better opportunity in New York and I'm glad he is here.

Re: Belichek/Mangini

Belichick doesn't seem like that kind of a guy. Don't read too much into a look away handshake. We have no idea what goes on behind the scenes. There is no way he can possibly feel that way about one of his guys after he left to take over the Browns in much the same way. If there is one thing we know about Belichick it's that we know very little about what he is thinking, and that's the way he likes it.
