The Huskers and Tennesssee Vols have announced a home and away series for 2016 and 2017. The first game is slated to be in Lincoln with the follow up in Knoxville. The scheduling has taken a definite upswing with the high profile games against Virginia Tech, USC, UCLA, and now Tennessee all in the future.
On a sidenote, the Huskers have also added Florida Atlantic to the schedule for 2009. I believe that is a program that is on the rise and could possibly be a decent team in the next few years.
