| Cornhuskers vs. Ball State Nebraska suffered their first loss of the season last weekend, falling to top-ranked USC. They struggled to stop the running game in that one, and it just so happens that Ball State ranks 2nd in the MAC in rushing, averaging 185.0 yards per game. So does that spell trouble for the Huskers in this one? Not really. Even though they're allowing more yards per game on the ground than any other Big 12 team (208.7 ypg), they're also averaging 472.7 yards per game offensively, and that should be more than enough to bring home a win on Saturday. What do you think?

| Re: Cornhuskers vs. Ball State The Huskers avoided the loss. Just barely, but they avoided the loss. According to the Associated Press, "Sam Keller's third touchdown pass finally put Nebraska in the lead with 3:13 left in the game, and the 24th-ranked Cornhuskers survived an upset bid by Ball State with a 41-40 victory on Saturday... Keller passed for a school-record 438 yards, and Nebraska (3-1) needed every one of them against the 23-point underdog Cardinals (2-2)."
